Work: Eh.
Writing: Meh.
Life: I'm not sure if you ever actually forget the emptiness of losing something important. What you forget is what it was like to have it in the first place, and that's a horrifying prospect.
Leisure: I've been spending my off time on Chinese MBLAQ forums and endlessly refreshing Tumblr and Youtube. It's pretty awful. Also re-reading Pratchett's City Watch series of books, which are not awful, and catching up on Bones and Initial D. Speaking of Initial D, I can't believe they
gave Ryousuke a love interest and crammed some corny lines into his mouth, and then had his supposedly awesome, free-spirited girlfriend kill herself because she couldn't deal with the pressure of being forced to marry someone else against her will, oh noes. Like, are you kidding me? They cracked Ryousuke's perfect facade for someone like this?? So much rage; give me Takahashicest anyday kthxbai. The art still makes me cringe if I think too hard about it, but after playing WoW for three? four? years, I think my tolerance for the unpretty has gone up significantly.
Week 2 of
MBLAQ 30 Days Challenge: Day 8: Favorite SeungHo picture
Oohh, what to pick? Seungho's one of those people who can look either really, really good or really, really bad, depending on weight fluctuation. ^^; I kind of adore him for going with an unflattering haircut when he was in one of his RELATIVELY chubbier phases (none of them have even scratched chubby since debut, really, although Thunder's cheeks...) as motivation to lose weight -- I feel like it takes a good deal of determination to do that as an idol, because, dude, THE FANGIRLS ARE ALWAYS WATCHING, and the fickle ones probably bleed away during any unattractive phases.
Anyway, he looks great to me in every way/shape/form because I think he's actually a great guy, mature and responsible, but in terms of pure aesthetics, the High Cut shoot was a good one for Leader-ssi.
Day 9: Favorite G.O picture
I can't get into the facial hair from his early image. XDD Sorry, I just can't. Fortunately, the moustache is gone now and hasn't reappeared.
I like the selcas G.O takes; he's a humorous guy, and I think it comes through even in supposedly sultry poses. *g* Here is one of the latest:
Day 10: Favorite Lee Joon picture
Umm. Every single one? Joon is crazily photogenic, and at this point I like him enough that he looks gorgeous to me even when he's haggard and pinched-looking and probably running on no sleep for the past two days. (And I don't like him enough to keep picking at him mercilessly: I have a friend who gets to hear me whine every time I see Thunder with a bad hairstyle, or unflattering clothes, or just a shot from a poor angle, and he keeps asking me, "Are you really sure you like this guy?" *rolls*)
Thus it's simultaneously really easy and really hard to fill up my Joon folder, because if I start saving every image of him that I like, soon I'll have no disk space left.
So here, have a random Joon picture:
Day 11: Favorite Cheondung picture
I think my Thunder folder is crashing my graphics card; it's usually when I'm going through his pics that the screen goes all color-blocky and occasionally freezes. >_>
Anyway, Thunder's another one of those people who can either look really good or really bad, though with him it's a mixture of hair, posture and clothes. He went through one of the really good phases during the Run promotion period these past couple of months, so I guess I can't complain about the current really bad one. They've clipped his hair short again, and I don't know why; IMO it's not a great look for him. AT LEAST I'LL ALWAYS HAVE THE MEMORIES.
Day 12: Favorite Mir picture
Again, I like most Mir photos; he and Joon are, I think, the most reliably good-looking in the group. Mir should totally win the 'Most Improved From Childhood' idol award, btw. XDDD
It's hard to pick just one favorite photo of Mir, so again, have a random one:
Day 13: Favorite CF they did
...Can I cop out here and say that I've never seen any of their CFs?
Day 14: Favorite youtube clip
So many to choose from! Where to start?
This one is rather lovely; it's just a fancam of them leaving an Inkigayo performance last month, but pair the slow-mo with the music, and the boys being all happy and smiley, and it just makes me happy. The one flaw is that the camera follows Mir around so devotedly that you barely get a glimpse of Seungho. :(

For something funny, I think it's still hard to beat Mir's EVERYBODY RICE EAT:
