I'll probably be doing a real recs post once I finish up with the *NSYNC stories, but I just wanted to take a sec to publicly recommend the story that was written just for me(!), In Control Curious. It's an alternate reality, in which Britney is a member of *NSYNC and Justin has always been a solo artist. The story revolves around Britney, Lance, and Justin, and their dynamics are kind of my favorite thing ever. There are issues of Lance as an outsider, the loneliness of being a solo pop icon, and some really lovely and comfortable Lance/Britney interactions. A really great Chris pokes his head in once in a while, JC is sweet and thoughtful, and there's some just-friends, no-fucking JoLa. Basically, it's everything I could possibly want in a story. It's all the way at the bottom of the *NSYNC pairings page, but please don't overlook it because I think it's really well written and deserves some attention. In Control Curious! Read it! Love it!
