The coffee shop near my workplace also sells magazines and books. (Some new, some used as I discovered when I turned a page in my copy of Rivers of London and a receipt from a Waterstones in Edinborough fell out.) This morning I walked in to get my coffee and was greeted by an illustrated history of Sandman. Yes, I'm giving it a new home. (I do this a lot with the fantasy and SF there; it saves it from a sad and dusty fate.)
I seem to be on a quest to bring the stack of Books to Read to my own height. I think it might be waist high already. (But there keep being sales and new series that catch my eye! And Steve bringing me to Chapters knowing i'm incapable of leaving a bookstore without something!) Any way I can just barricade myself with books and tea for the rest of the winter? Please?
