One of my co-workers has posited that Cat Rental Guy's ad is actually code for something else. That is just as logical as someone wanting to rent out their pet cats on a monthly basis, actually. (I don't think of these things. I should.)
Talked to the rep who took the order a bit more today. Apparently you have to sign a contract - we don't what it entails. A promise to return your rental cat in good condition? How many toys it's to be supplied with? And how do you determine you get the same cat back, or stop someone from moving away with your cat? RFID tags to prove the animal is yours?
I am thinking about this way too much.
