Because every character needs one!

Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Around 5'8", and average weight (I don't know normal height to weight ratios and can't find them). He's built, if slightly malnourished. Xander makes sure he's in shape, but the world he lives in doesn't lead to very healthy lifestyles

2. How old is he?
28

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He carries himself well and prefers not to slouch.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Xander's in very good shape. Probably has a very low level of radiation sickness since he lives in a still-somewhat-radioactive wasteland but tries to keep his rad level low enough to not cause any problems.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Graceful and perhaps kind of tense looking. Well, not so much 'graceful' as 'he knows just what his body can do.'

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Average, though that goes to above-average if one finds the baby face appealing. And he doesn't care as long as he still passes for younger and much more innocent than he is.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Middling to dark, depending on how much sun he's gotten lately. He's got his share of scars, but they're mostly in places that are easily covered.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Brown, down to around his shoulders. Not much of a style, often just lives with how it falls. Style isn't a big part of his life.

9. What color are his eyes?
Brown. How exotic

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
He's got a baby face, so usually passes as younger than he is. Tends to cultivate an air of naivety and innocence.

11. What are his chief tension centers?
I'm still not sure what this means.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Xander greatly prefers his uniform, but since its not safe to wear that in most places he goes he simply sticks with something similar to wasteland wanderer outfits or merc cruiser outfits.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
As well as can be considered when they're often scavenged from dead people.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
Aside from the legion uniform/courier clothes, not really.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Boxers.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
...somehow i don't know

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Easily and soft, sometimes hesitating, if he's out in disputed territory. Harder and more...uh...purposefully if not or his secret is out.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
I'm sure he's got an accent from where he grew up, but its 'normal' for the area he lives in. He prefers to pronounce Latin in the classical way, but has taught himself to use the more common ones when 'undercover' (hard C vs soft C, etc). No particular tics.

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
English and some Latin. He has limited literacy in English, mostly enough to read post orders and get at least the general idea of courier orders. He has no literacy in Latin, unless you count being able to guess on what he knows of English writing.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
When he's in legion territory, Xander sticks to the classical Latin pronunciations and speaks with a much harder/more serious tone of voice than otherwise.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He has to think about his words, but has been able to come up with cover stories on the fly. Usually he practices things like that ahead of time just in case.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Somewhere in the middle, I guess. He's good at talking to people in casual circumstances and making friendly or getting information out of them, but is by no means a public speaker.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
Average. More street and book, seeing has he's had very little experience with books.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
Unless its combat related, Xander needs time to decide. Though since many of his decisions are based on his strict moral code, they may seem quickly made.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Intuitive, if I'm using the word right, and idealistic. Everything ever is based on what Caesar and the legion says, so his thought process is highly fanatical.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
Strong 'education' in the religion, morals and laws of his society. Lots of military training, very basics on things like reading and math and even less on things like history (where it doesn't apply to Caesar's party line).

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Killing shit, scouting and not getting dead. Dealing with dogs, double talk and not being seen as well.
Xander would give almost anything--assuming its not outlawed--to learn more about ancient Rome. He also wants to learn a lot about the forces opposing his own, but that's just so he can fight them/pass it on to people who can use that information to defeat them.

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Introvert through and through. Usually comes off as shy and/or socially awkward.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Very driven, often somewhere between cheerful and angry depending on where he is. He's largely even tempered, but is rather stunted in the emotional department.

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Suspicious and occasionally enthusiastic. He'd be more relaxed in legion situations, but the society is basically the same everywhere so there aren't really any new situations with them. Somewhat cautious with new legionaries, unless they outrank him.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
React. Xander prefers not to initiate anything if he doesn't have another choice.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Fight. It would have been flight had he not been trained out of it.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
What are this humour you speak of? Xander is entirely too serious at all times and doesn't really get humour if its not making fun of profligates.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
Does being a religious fanatic count?

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
When his village was overrun by the legion and he was enslaved really decided what type of person he'd be for life.

14. What does he fear?
Being crucified. Letting down the legion or Caesar...which would lead to the former as far as he's concerned.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
To be all he can be :| More fanaticism

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
Xander is somewhat touchy with other legionaries about the fact that he was born a dissolute and was later a slave, and will not bring it up, but he won't deny it if confronted with it.
His true nature/affiliation when he's working as a courier, as it'd likely get him dead.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
Non-existent. His father is dead and he was separated from his mother at age five. He's seen her once between age 28 and 5, but did not really interact with her. To Xander parents are more DNA donors than anything else, but deep down he still loves his mother.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
One older brother. For awhile Xander looked up to him, until he was informed that his brother died a coward. After that he became proud of the fact that he surpassed his brother, who had always been better at everything than him.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
If there are they're either dead or he's unaware of them.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
He sort of considers the legion as his family, which is more or less how its supposed to be.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
His dog was his best friend, before she was killed.

6. Does he have other close friends?
No real close friends. He had some friends in his old units, but has mostly lost contact with them after he became a frumentarii. Work is more important than friendships, but he still tries to catch up if they happen to be in the same camp or cross paths.

7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
Xander doesn't make friends that easily, though he probably could if he tried. He knows how to work people, but doesn't fully get how they work (emotionally, that is) and gets awkward in genuine social situations.

8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Neither, unless the legion counts as family. Then its family.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Single. Xander's not interested in relationships.

10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
No, see above.

11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
None, really.

12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
He doesn't.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
He may have a few children, but is unaware of them. He'd have no part in raising them, so it wouldn't matter if he knew them or not.

14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
Not any personal ones, no.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
Almost asexual, but can be considered bisexual as he'll sleep with both genders. He's never really attracted to anyone other than a 'you'll do' sort of thing.

16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
Sex is unimportant to Xander, but it seems a normal part of society so he'll partake in it. Occasionally he gets urges, and more often will give into advances by others.
Sex can also be used to archive goals :D Nothing like sleeping one's way up the corporate ladder...or its equivalent.

17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
He's turned on, if weirded out, by strong women. There are a few physical acts that will get him up or down but no real turn ons or off otherwise.
He's a bottom to males but refuses to be topped by a female.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
Xander doesn't know his birthday so I haven't bothered to decide this. He was born sometime in the summer, so possibly Leo..i can't seem to find my zodiac cheat sheet.
Fuck if I know what year 2252 is.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
You know, I'm not really sure what the difference between "religious" and "spiritual" are. But Xander is highly religious, and his religion rules his entire life.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
He does, though its been handed down to him by the cult he was raised in. He'd die before he'll truly compromise it, but may pretend to do so when 'undercover.'

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Horribly, horribly intolerant. Some mix between feeling pity for them being educated wrong and hatred for them believing incorrectly.

5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
Pfft. Everyone part of his faction is lax in morals and better off dead or forcibly converted/saved. Its pretty irrational.

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
In legion territory he's pretty comfortable. In disputed territory he's usually poor.

2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
As a frumentarii, Xander is considered an elite in legion territory. Sadly he spends most of his time out of it, and is considered a transient or nonfactor out in the wastes as he tries to move around a lot.

3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
Legion tents/camps or wherever he can crash. Camp sites or rented rooms if he can afford them. Nothing permanent.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Ammo, which is probably considered a necessity in his world. Nothing else, really, but he will pick up certain books in ruins. There's not much leisure to spend monies on aside from drugs, which Xander refuses to do.

5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He's a warrior, a scout and a spy. He also works as a courier. He enjoys both, but often has issues with where the courier job takes him.

6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
What are 'free tiem?' Xander spends what time 'off' he has training or making sure he's still in shape and can kill shit efficiently.
Xander is interested in ancient Rome, and would be interested in breeding and training dogs but hasn't been given the opportunity to do so.

7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
He skips meals or rations out of necessity at times, but tries not to. He prefers to hunt and gather on his own, but will purchase food from people if in a city. Aside from the occasionally glass(es) of wine, Xander detests alcohol.

I Am A: Lawful Neutral Human Fighter/Cleric (2nd/2nd Level)

Ability Scores:

Strength-17

Dexterity-13

Constitution-16

Intelligence-11

Wisdom-16

Charisma-11

Alignment:
Lawful Neutral A lawful neutral character acts as law, tradition, or a personal code directs him. Order and organization are paramount to him. He may believe in personal order and live by a code or standard, or he may believe in order for all and favor a strong, organized government. Lawful neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you are reliable and honorable without being a zealot. However, lawful neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it seeks to eliminate all freedom, choice, and diversity in society.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Primary Class:
Fighters can be many things, from soldiers to criminal enforcers. Some see adventure as a way to get rich, while others use their skills to protect the innocent. Fighters have the best all-around fighting capabilities of the PC classes, and they are trained to use all standard weapons and armor. A fighter's rigorous martial training grants him many bonus feats as he progresses, and high-level fighters have access to special melee maneuvers and exotic weapons not available to any other character.

Secondary Class:
Clerics act as intermediaries between the earthly and the divine (or infernal) worlds. A good cleric helps those in need, while an evil cleric seeks to spread his patron's vision of evil across the world. All clerics can heal wounds and bring people back from the brink of death, and powerful clerics can even raise the dead. Likewise, all clerics have authority over undead creatures, and they can turn away or even destroy these creatures. Clerics are trained in the use of simple weapons, and can use all forms of armor and shields without penalty, since armor does not interfere with the casting of divine spells. In addition to his normal complement of spells, every cleric chooses to focus on two of his deity's domains. These domains grants the cleric special powers, and give him access to spells that he might otherwise never learn. A cleric's Wisdom score should be high, since this determines the maximum spell level that he can cast.
