I read an article in one of my horse magazines about a horse with a tumor in his hoof. Trophy has some of the symptoms but not all. I don't want to be overreacting, but it's difficult when he's been favoring the lower section of his front left leg for over a month now. The vet is supposed to come back in about a week and a half, but I think I'm going to call him back sooner for X-rays since Trophy just isn't getting better. This will be the 4th vet visit, and I'd really like to find out what's going on ... that will make me feel much better, hopefully!
In addition, all the extra hours in class, and preparing presentations for class are difficult right now. It's a big adjustment to get back into the school mode again. However, I've completed 3 out of 4 presentations for one class which will last through the beginning of August, much better to get them out of the way ahead of time.
The holiday weekend went by far too fast. Having to meet my partner to work on our presentation at 9:30am on Saturday and Monday didn't help ;/
