[Guy is in the Library, there are books all about him, when he turns the device on. He's scribbling some notes while reading something off screen, as he speaks a bit distractedly to the device.]

Anise, I wanted to ask if I could borrow something.

And Yuri, could I hire Brave Vesperia for a bit of a job?

No... No that wouldn't work. [And he ( Read more... )

Are you researching something, Guy?

Sort of. I know the theory works but modifying it to be compatible to mana-based blastia is--

[Probably way over the kid's head.]

Yeah. I'm working on a project.

[He knows a thing or two about mana, Guy.]

If you're working with mana, are you working with some sort of magitechnology?

[Guy doesn't know that!]

Magitechnology? I haven't heard it called that, but maybe. I'm trying to merge principles of three different technologies--Rita's been working out the mana theory and I'm trying to see if the mechanical side can really be integrated.

They're machines that run off of mana. Do you have anything similar to it?

In Auldrant we have fontech, but if I understand the principles of mana it's a little different.

Similar enough it should work though.

But it sounds like our worlds are similar since we both have mana. Does your world happen to have a shortage of mana?

[Probably not, since it doesn't sound like Guy's world consists of two different worlds. But this Auldrant using mana too...it never hurts to ask.]

I'm sure you'll get it to work.

Nah, this is for Rita's world. The energy supporting Auldrant is fonons. And with the Planet Storm, there's no shortage.

Hah, thanks Mithos. You're welcome to help if you like. Does this kind of thing interest you?

Oh, alright. It's still interesting that two different worlds have mana. You're lucky there's no shortage. It doesn't go well in the world when there is one.

It seems very interesting, yes! I'm not sure how I am working with technology, but I could help you with any research if you would like.

According to Rita mana's a new resource in Terca Lumireis, they used a more unstable form called aer-- [But he's not up on the history so he shakes his head.]

Fonons resonate at a different frequency than mana, but with some adjustments... Well, the theory is sound. If you like you might ask Rita, she's the one working on the conversion formula.
