Indeed I am. [Is still trying to get used to the idea that people aren't going to take a sword to him for what he is here. Even then, good luck finding where he lives.]

Is the garlic weakness more common to those who have the Dark Gift in your world?

[heelsandlaw]

I don't think there's vampires in my world. That I know of, at any rate. [ And she's still trying to get used to the amount of different people and races here that she never thought existed. ] But garlic is a common weakness to vampires in fiction of my world.

None at all? How curious.

Hm, in my world, that is simply a common rumor. Well, except for when it comes to me, that is.

Are you the only vampire with a weakness for garlic in your world?

[servessithis]

Yes. Strange that, despite the rumor, I have never encountered or read of another vampire with such a weakness.

[heelsandlaw]

So how come you have it? And what effect does it have?

[servessithis]

I suspect I had an allergy to it in life, and the Gift had an odd effect on it. Or perhaps the Gift will occassionally give an odd weakness in addition to the others.

As for what it does, all I will say is that it leaves me vulnerable.

How does one turn into a vampire in your world? If you don't mind me asking.

A bite to the neck from a vampire will do that job.

That's very much like traditional fiction in my world.

Odd that vampires only exist in fiction in your realm, yet seem to draw many prallels to live vampires in mine.

[heelsandlaw]

Yeah. Who knows, what with all the different dimensions that seem to exist, maybe there's some overlap.
