So many things to sort, so little time

Just taking a few moments from the fun and excitement that is sorting all our worldly possessions on the back lawn. It's not so easy going through all of these boxes without visiting memory lane one or seven times. I know that some of these items are easily parted with. Others, not so much. We've gotten to a bunch of boxes from the garage that belong in The Boy's room and should have been unpacked within months, if not weeks, of moving here. We'll be here two years this August. At least it's finally getting done. Inevitably, some of the stuff (read: stuff that isn't salable, ie. papers, memorabilia, etc.) will stay in boxes until we can decide whether to keep it (and then where to put it) or to dispose of it.

It's been as hot as the day is long, and I keep needing to go back inside to get something to stay hydrated, or just get out of the sun entirely. This has made me feel incredibly under-productive. I know we've made progress, but there is so much more to do before Saturday morning.

On the up-side, we've found some cool stuff that belonged to The Boy, but he's since aged-out of playing with. The Girl is now just old enough to appreciate some of these items, so it seems they've been unearthed just in time.
