Can we just say "OH MAN" in reference to Billy Corgan's show last night? It was amazing. His album sounded so much more amazing performed live, as if it doesn't already sound wonderful. "Now (and Then)" was absolutely amazing and maybe even my favorite track of the night.
There was this awesome light show dealy going on behind him. It was freakin' sweet! You could just see how into it he was and proud of his band he is.. which was awesome. It wasn't like he was some corporate puppet dancing around on stage.. he just had so much.. energy and ahh, he's got true love.
I just appreciate music so much more after I go see him. It's like he's my "music god" that encourages musicial spirituality or something. I know that sounds odd, but I think different people inspire different things and he just makes me love music that much more.
So this evening entails multiple minuses:
- Go to Elgin for Traffic School (BOO!!)
- Grab coffee from Starbucks or whatever's open
- Work at Target from 10:30p to 7:30am
Bonus is that I get Friday off so Fantastic Four here I come!
