(no subject)
Today was awesome. I woke up this morning and went to my classes and did the Tuesday/Thursday thing. I went to my night class and was on the verge of being bored to tears. I got out of there at about 8:30 then went to True Spin (an awesome Bible study). So that brings me to right here. I had a revelation tonight... I've been living with Christ in a "Christian world", which could be a good thing BUT that's not what Christianity is about. I've got to get out there in the WORLD (ooh... that's a scary word) AND have Christ with me. God really drove the lyrics to "Madly in Love With You" home tonight. We are not called to associate with Christians all the time but to get out there in the world and associate with those guys (and girls) too. How are we glorifying God if we just go to church, sing, and read our Bible? We are glorifying Him by doing that but He wants us to do so much more! We've got to get our hands messy and go out there in the real world. Don't just go out there and beat somebody on the head with a Bible, but LOVE them. Don't treat them like they are stupid, but get to KNOW them. Really and truly care about them. Don't make them a "project" so you can feel good about yourself for loving them. They are just like you, a living, breathing person. You have a choice as to whether or not you want to love them, but before you make that choice, remember the choice GOD made for YOU! He loves you and never once thought about not loving you!
