This post wraps up my week in San Antonio, TX. (No, there haven't been any other posts about it. You're not missing anything.)

Oh wow. Yeah, SA at the end of April is pretty intense. Glad you got to see the riverwalk, which is indeed worth seeing, even with the crappy water.

It's a unique town, and I don't use the adjective lightly. Lots of history there. To understand Texas one must first comprehend San Antonio -- how it came to be and how it has evolved over time.

It is, as you noticed, already quite hot at this time of year. It gets even worse as the summer goes by. I suppose you got there too late for the bluebonnets, but I hope you got to at least see a few of them.
