Personally, I think that's a good idea. But on the same token, keeping some for yourselves would be an equally good idea. The SHQ has been very hospitable in the past year.
So if you'd like to keep the rest of it for your own pockets, I would think nothing of it.

totally agree with mark...even if you donate half of what is extra to charity that would be amazing. Plus what ever you keep can help for future partys when people might not be able to donate as much!

I'm still sticking to the charity idea. Maybe next party we'll keep the left overs, but this is Christmas, if we have the money to spend on food and booze we should have a lil money for those less fortunate too.
