The good in people.

I just have to say, sometimes people are amazing. If I had to measure up all the good people have done for me and weigh it against all the bad, the good would flatten the bad in an instance.

Remember that bike that was stolen from me that wasn't quite mine? Well, I sent the real owner an email apologizing and stating I would pay him next drill, and the response I got was not at all what I was expecting. Instead of having me pay they called the insurance company and said it would cover it. On top of that without even asking he went into his backyard (he used to own a bike shop) and found a bike for me, which he's going to fix up, slap some new tires on and give to me. For free. I was blown away, sometimes I wonder how it is that I came to be surrounded by such good people. Wow is all I can really say.

Then to put the icing on the cake, the last two days have been amazing as well. Yeah I have 5 blisters and 2 new calluses on my feet, but it was absolutely worth it. Tuesday night, while it was just Bradley and I was great. We took our lesson and I did really well. I was worried the class might be a bit difficult for me, but I was able to keep up. Then Wednesday's trip went surprisingly well. I took the class on a field trip! And ten people tagged along, which was perfect. Only Steve and I had to drive. The part that really surprised me? They really enjoyed themselves and want to go back! Teaching ain't so bad once you get some good ideas going :). As amazing as the dance was, the car ride wasn't too shabby either, Bradley was one of the girls (yet again), and there was constant conversation on the way there and the way back. Not that that's ever really been a problem with Bradley and I in the car. =P

Now, I've finished all my midterms and I'm taking a break. I'm going home this weekend for the first time since...Egypt. Ouch. Its mothers day! And we're going to KFOG KABOOM! =) And so my life beings...or, er, continues!

bike, kaboom, teaching, people, dancing, happy, good
