Interesting morning. While I was sitting at the bus stop this morning the girl who was sitting next to me glanced over and exclaimed at my eyes. Apparently they were in their green and brown faze and she'd never seen anything like it. It was rather complimenting, though really awkward. So after being passed by 4 buses we decide to hitch up to campus. The guy who pulled over was interesting enough, he was blasting the Phenomenons, which was rather appropriate for the occasion I thought, and had a bobble head Krishna as well as a "Free Truman" pin affixed to his dashboard. It made my morning surreal. Tonight'll be interesting too. Yet again I decided to sacrifice myself to the Gods of Dance, and I will be making my way to Redwood City tonight for an evening of sacrificial dancing. Sacrificial in that I will not be able to complete the mounds of work I still have to do. So I'll probably find myself returning home at 2am, passing out just in time for a few hours of sleep before tomorrow rushes in to claim me. The dancing and the In-N-Out should make it worth it.
On another note, I've noticed that where I used to excel at keeping in touch through the internet, something which is becoming more and more prominent, I seem to have fallen behind. Where I once was with the game, if not a little ahead of the game, with my net skillz of such internet lingo such as "lol" and "rofl", the "game" seems to have passed me in a blur. Right when it's becoming the most important too. My networking skills, while not completely dead have changed from internet based to real life based. While I love it, I prefer to talk to people than to IM them, and I prefer to call people than to email them, its making me lose contact with some people. But then, there is the question of whether that's the result of my negligence with the internet, or if perhaps people growing apart from each other. Either temporarily or permanently. It's a question worth asking I suppose, if one can muster up enough time to think about it. ;)
