So...I like to think that, technologically-speaking, I'm pretty "with it." I've got my "blog," my Facebook account, my Flickr account; I shop on Ebay & Amazon & Etsy; I have an e-Reader in my iPad; I'm a Powerpoint ACE and I'm mastering Prezi. And the only reason I don't have a SmartPhone is because I am desperately holding on the hope that Verizon & Apple will become Biffles and release an iPhone sometime soon. Because I love Verizon and am never leaving it, despite my completely inexplicable desire for an iPhone. (My mother is continually amazed at my desire for, and mastery of, The Latest Gadget. Although, she does concede that the iPad makes traveling wonderful.)
The one thing I've not fully gotten behind is Twitter. Not sure why. Maybe because I'm wary of pop-culture phenom things that blow up overnight -- it took me 4 years to even acknowledge Harry Potter existed. (Yeah. Look how THAT ended.)
But now...I'm thinking about it. Facebook's popularity is slowly dwindling, I've noticed. My friends don't update nearly as much as they used to and I actually cut back on my FB updates because I don't want to be THAT kid. But Twitter (as I'm sure it was designed to be) would be an excellent platform for that.
Do any of you Twitter? Do you like it? Would you recommend it?
