Where ARE people's priorities?

Oh boo hoo hoo! It's just soooooo soooooo sad when the big bad gum'mint (in the form of the Public Schools) interferes with your GAWD-GIVEN right as a parent to inculcate irrational bigotry and hatred into your children.
It's great when they keep repeating "kindergarten!" and "five years old!" in hushed tones of shocked awe, as if it were such a horrible, horrible thing for a child that young to see a couple of adult men (or adult women) instead of "a mommy and a daddy" living peacefully and lovingly as a family.
OHMIGAWDSINNERZ!!111!! LOOKIT THAT! THEY'RE TAKING OUT THE TRASH! NOW THEY'RE WALKING THE DOG AND PICKING UP THEIR MAIL!! VILE SINNNNNERZZZ!! QUICK, COVER LITTLE BILLY'S EYES, JEBEDIAH!!! HE'S ONLY FIVE YEARS OLD...
I am just amazed at the degree of intolerance expressed by these folks. As well as the expansive sense of entitlement because they alone know what's good and right-- not only for themselves, but for the entire world.
Even if their only issue as they want an "opt out" for their kids at school to avoid their being taught that same-sex couples are not evil, WHY would that necessitate their voting yes on Prop 8-- which has nothing to do with kindergarten curricula, but has EVERYTHING to do with controlling how other citizens peacefully conduct their lives?
Enough! I need to go cleanse my palate now by watching something upbeat, progressive, and fun!
