PUPPY PIX :)
Hi y'all.
First of all, I am exhausted. This little bundle of joy is the most completely out of control creature I have had to deal with for some time.
Paul and I picked her up at the shelter this evening after I got off work. We had to wait while she was vet checked and temperament tested, and then we went through the "adoption consultation"-- and all of that took almost two hours.
After that, we had to stop and buy stuff for her, since we had no doggie accouterments at home. So, off we went to PetCo, where we acquired a nice leash, a crate, food and water bowls, dog biscuits, a poop scoop, lint rollers (she sheds big time!), a training collar, and a ball.
We got a pretty hefty bag of Science Diet that came with her, so we'll pick up more food for her in two or three days...
Anyway, here she is! Her name is ASIA. We didn't name her that, but we do think it's a cool name, so we're keeping it. These pix all include Paul, because he kind of has to keep a hand on her so she won't charge the camera and try to lick it to death. As you can see from these photos, she deploys the tongue quite mercilessly.
After we've had her a few days and she's (Oh, PLEASE, God!) calmed down a bit, I will be able to get better shots of her. Until then, you will have to settle for what's here :)
