Visiting Hours
Me and Hank visited Mina for a bit. She seems like she's doing pretty good. Her colour's a bit better, but she still seems kinda weak. She can't eat much, so I made her some soup and she kept that down just fine. Jake seems to be doing a good job.
When Mina's all better Hank's going to teach us how to defend ourselves. Maybe even show us how to handle a gun. That's kinda scary. I don't like the idea of getting myself into a situation where I need to use a gun. I've always managed to charm my way out of trouble. Even when I was working for Badger, I never had to worry about that sort of stuff. Of course, back then I usually ran AWAY from trouble, not after it, like we did with that creepy guy *shudder* that grabbed Jayne and Killian. And who knows what we're going to be getting up to now. I'm pretty sure we're going to be helping get Jayne's kid back, but I'm not sure what exactly we're going to be doing.
Mina was really excited when Hank told her about the lessons. I bet she'll take to the training - she seems to take to everything else anyone's tried to teach her. Hmmm. Maybe I'll teach her how to play an instrument one of these days. We could busk together.
It was weird being in Jake's room again. He watches me like a hawk the whole time I'm in there. Guess he's afraid I'm gonna take something again. I won't. I learned that lesson.
