I seem to be having a problem lately with a bit of plagerism. Some cousins of mine were over today, with their leabhars, and we were looking through them, marking things up that had changed classifications, making small improvements, etcetera, when I discover that not one but two of my cousins had "borrowed" quite a few things of mine.
Now, when asked I tend to be immensely generous with my workings as well as the things written in my leabhar, but the thing was they didn't ask! There are people who don't have to ask, namely my grandmother (who neveer wants to look at it unless she wants to use something that her grandmother used) and my Order-girls, mainly beause of the multi-copy leabhars that have 90% of all the things all of the Order-girls have come up with. I am not saying that everything in my leabhar ismine originally, in fact, far from it, I have stuff from great-grandma Viola and great-great grandma Jane, things from Granny, even stuff from my chovihnni, but certain things that I came up with I guard rather jealously.
Namly the number squares that (given how bad I am at math) took me months to work out correctly. Numbers and I don't get along and we're talking about intensely hard number squares. And two of my cousins saw fit to copy them exactly into their leabhars. They didn't even jumble up the rows so it looked like they worked them out themselves.
Needless to say Calypso wasn't happy...and I doubt they'll try that again after the yelling I did. Plagerising work that took me hours without asking...and then not even noting that they didn't come up with it. )*Growl*
