I could, but that sounds like a science book. And I've never been all that good with anything science related. And wouldn't it make more sense if I had photos of other places that depict "colour through light" from other areas? =P

Well, of course it would. I'm not saying make this your only source, but sort of a starting point.
And it doesn't have to be science-related at all. It could be like a coffee table artsy book.
