The Butterfly Effect
Hmmm...have added new friends to the LJ now. It's one in the morning, I'm sick, and for some reason I'm still sitting at the computer.
Did anyone know that they made a live action movie of Wicked City? Ah, that's going to be hilarious to watch, if not somewhat disturbing. I mean really, how can you make that sort of cartoon live? ....Well, so long as they never make a live action movie of Urotsukidoji, the world may still be safe. ...Probably not though. I actually have this live action video here, but haven't watched it yet. When I finally do, it's going to be weird.
Speaking of odd movies, just came back from seeing 'The Butterfly Effect'. Not too sure how to comment on it. Very interesting movie, sad, depressing, though provoking etc. Man...if you had that kind of power, what would you change? Would you change anything? Imagine just changing one tiny variable at some point during your life. How would it change you? What if I'd never met Charmaine? Or never been seated next to Laura in the 5th grade? If I'd never started Tae Kwon Do? If I'd said I wanted to live with my father instead of my mother? Or if I'd never gone to film night?
All of those variables would probably have changed me immensely if they'd been altered in any way. Some of you may know the implications of a couple of these events, but most of you probably don't, so there wasn't a lot of point questioning it on a public journal, but that's just what I'm pondering at ridiculous hours of the morning.
As an incentive for people to comment, today's question is; or what is a variable you think would probably have changed you significantly had it been altered?
It's nearly 2am now. I'm tempted to go and erase half of that bullshit up there, but Alex asked me to update, and without adding in my ponderings this is going to be quite a short entry.
With it it's quite long though. I should really just finish up. Might at some point post some more poems at fictionpress.com if you're interested (once again, message mainly to 'highlystrung' Alex). Or maybe just post them here, since that seems to be the done thing a lot lately. k....well I figure I'll go get some sleep now. Might post poems, might not. Depends of how starved for idea for updates I get.
