I am exhausted from picking up the pieces of stuff other people broke.

Being an overly-motivated problem solver is turning me into a squeaky wheel, and I'm beginning to fear that too much politics will ultimately be dragged into the things I keep trying to accomplish. All I really want is a safer, more peaceful world, but some days all I see is people acting on their worst vices. Some days I start to get the feeling that they're doing it on purpose, right in front of me. FLAUNTING the fact that they--supposedly--have the FREEDOM to do such untoward things. BECAUSE THEY "CAN" seems to be the going mantra. But just because you CAN... does that really mean you should?? WHY, oh WHY do most people seem to leave this last part out???

Like... the more people there are in the world... and this number is increasing faster than I believe is healthy for the species... the more the repercussions of a negative action seem to reverberate out among the ever-growing many. More of us to share the same space, energy, resources. More of us affected by selfish misdeeds. Can nobody else understand this? Or is this some complete nutso theory that I cooked up out of pure frustration?
