Apparently I have a date. I didn't put my own name in, so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do, here. It's not like I signed up for that love bucket thing.

Why would I be lonely? I have my grandparents, I have friends, and I have a pet I can have conversations with.

That's good, then! But romance is something different, I think.

Romance is also something I don't need.

I guess you are a little young for it. But maybe someday you'll feel differently!

Maybe when I'm thirty or something and I've already gotten far in my career.

Thirty! But that's so old! You're still young, this is the perfect time for love.

I'm thirteen.

We're just talking about love, not anything more adult. Thirteen is more than old enough.

We're talking about romantic love. There's no need to rush into that.

It doesn't have to be forever. It's okay to have crushes and things like that at your age - normal, even.

I don't want to bother with people who aren't going to stick around.

But how can you ever be sure? Besides, it's better to love and lose than never love at all.

Or I could just focus on becoming Minister of Magic like I want and not bother.
