Well, with condoms being passed out so openly...some idiot is going to take this as it being okay for students to sneak off somewhere and shag.

The plan is to find places people might use, and then make sure we're there doing something perfectly innocent. We negotiate a fee to go away and leave them to their business, and then repeat with someone else.

Not entirely.

It's more of a solicited bribe, I think. Blackmail would be to threaten to expose their snogging. We'd be doing neither. We'd just be a nuisance that can be neutralised with the proper application of coins.

That's right. And we're not stopping them from finding somewhere else to go snog, either. We'd just be occupying a premium location for privacy and playing exploding snap or something. If people want us to go away, they can pay us to find somewhere else to hang out, and then we'll have a little extra pocket money around for our Hogsmeade trip.

If it was going to involve blackmail, we would have to hide cameras to do it properly, anyhow.
