What we cooked yesterday :-) (Recipe from http://www.nekobento.com)

serves 2:
400g Hokkaidō-pumpkin
200g minced meat
200ml water
2 Tbsp Soja sauce
2 Tbsp Mirin
2 tsp sugar
2 pinches Salz
½ tsp chiliflakes
2 Tbsp water
1 Tbsp starch

rice

Mirin might be replaced by Sherry (?)
I used paprika instead of chili.

  1. cut pumpkin into halves, remove core, peel it, cut into pieces.
  2. boil in 1/2L water + add a little salt. add pumpkin and cook until tender (~5min). serve pumpkin pieces on 2 plates.
  3. put 200ml water, sojasauce, mirin, sugar, salt and chili in a pan and heat until it boils. add minced meat and let it cook. mix starch + 2Tbsp Water and add it while stirring. boil for another 5min and then put the mass over the pumpkin pieces

    Serve with rice
time needed: ~ 25 minutes
