It's good to be patient.
I have 2 orchids. There's the Phalaenopsis. It's already flowering for a few months now. And there's the problem orchid, often declared dead, because it has only one brown-speckled leaf.
But there's hope. Something light green slowly finds its way through the substrate. A new leaf.
