(no subject)

Yesterday was a meeting of a few members of our elderly women's wrong-singing-group.
We decided to stop the project.
*relieved*

Afterwards I heard a lot about Rhine-shippping and I told Mr Ciccarelli (the conductor) about my project and nuclear power plants and a lot of other things.
He is the very prototype of a musician. Doesn't know anything about anything else than his profession. Was surprised to hear about climate change and that russian power plants might be not as safe as western european ones.
Well, ok. He's no engineer. He doesn't need to know about cooling cycles of power plants. But what really surprised him was that one could study technical subjects in Vienna. like "Vienna is the city of music and arts, there can't be anything else!"
*bangs her head against the next wall*
