Im not sure if this will work, but if anyone wants to see them via email I will be more than happy to send it to them!!
But yeah, I had a wonderful time, we actually got to go down to the townships in a very poverty part of South Africa called "langa." It was very unfortunate to see how these people live, no cable, no electricity, no running water in there houses, and hardly any houses have plumbing. There houses also resembled shacks, being built of left over billboards...no proper structure at all. The kids were so awesome and so cute! They didnt want to let go once they held your hand...so cute.
On a good note, we also had a chance to go on a safari and saw some wild giraffes, zebras, gazelles, rhino,Babboons, and alligators. We also had the chance to get out of the jeep that we were in and had a nature walk to this huge damn that we climbed up. It was scary because it was very high, but view was spectacular! My tour day was the very first day we arrived in Cape Town, it was very hot the entire time we were there, in the 90's. It was a very hectic day because we couldnt get our rooms on time and had to kill some time before we got checked in. But it all went well. Did lots of shopping at the Victoria Wharf and bargaining at the open air markets, HAD THE BEST FOOD EVER!! African food is probably the best exotic food out there, I miss it and loved it all!! There specialties included dumplings filled with meat, gazelle, ostrich....very good...and this thick consistancy of grits, and some of the best wine I've had. We also got a chance to go wine tasting at the seidelberg wineries, some of the best and well known wine in the world. Very good, bought me a couple bottles of wine myself..hehe. We also went to see some pinguens at this boulder beach, they were so cute!!!! It was mating season for them...soooo...hehehe, we kinda got a show from a couple of them. lol.

So those are some of the highlights we did while I was there, we were there for about a week, and spent a half day in london as well. But I absolutely loved Cape Town and would go back in a heartbeat!!! Our tour guide was even awesome to boot!

So If you guys have any questions, let me know!!! I am thinking about going back after I graduate...anyone want to come????

WILL POST LATER!

Love always,

RENA
