Well... AniZona was officially canceled. I am sad about this and was wondering what I was going to do when spring rolled around & there was a big gaping hole where an anime convention should be. I was considering proposing on the AniZona forums that maybe the local con refugees can gather at a park or something that weekend. But I didn't need to do that. In fact, my plan was done one better.

So perhaps the anime con void in spring will be filled.
Perhaps there can be serious cat gurl party after all. Yay!
I will be watching their forums closely for further developments. No price or location set yet. Just a promise of wonderfulness to come (and at least their website looks decent.)
Work has been well... work. Nothing to report there. Except they gave us subway sandwiches & cookies + soda for Christmas. Hooray for free lunch. All I gotta do is survive until Saturday & then its home to New Mexico for a week. Mucho Comida de Free!
In social life, went to fun-tastic party last Friday. I've gotta be more forceful with people about how much alcohol they put in my drinks. I may not be allergic but I definitely have a sensitivity to the stuff. More does not equal better for me. But I got to add Jenn to my LJ friends & I'm pleased. Welcome to my mundane livejournal, Jenn!
The make over the next day went well except for the attack on my eyebrows with tweezers. My brows still hurt. But since they've been professionally shaped for free... I'm gonna try to keep them that way. I'll be getting pictures from the girl tomorrow hopefully. For now I put some shots I took with my phone up on Flikr. One is my LJ icon at present.
Changling went well. Not a lot I can say there. The characters played games & my character sucked at them. I don't get pulling for cards at all & I don't think I'm going to like actual hard play when it starts in January. We shall see I suppose.
There is a possible party on the Friday before I leave for home. I do recall be invited but not sure if it was a definite "we have party" or not. I want to go but I may need to pack that night. Hmm...contemplating it.
