It's really troubling. I thought we had lowered the crime rate for sure, and then suddenly more syndicates broke out of nowhere! If you can take care of yourself, that's good, because we need more people who can fight back. There's... not many of us right now.

Yeah, I'm about the only good mechanic in the city and the darn best if you ask me *pride* but I've been doing mechanics-related stuff all my life so this is nothing.

Though I don't build weapons normally, since I don't want them falling into the wrong hands.

I was once idealistic like you, though. Managed to win a war without killing a soul, but only because everyone I fought was either killed by others or themselves.

This is war, little one. Sometimes, people are going to die. At least this time I don't have the fate of the whole damn planet on my shoulders. Kind of relieving, that fact.

Technically that's how it went with me too, because I've been in two practical wars before. But what my friends and I fought were robots, not humans or anything of the sort.

People may die, but they don't have to die. Nobody deserves to die for anything, it's too cruel a fate.
