And end of the year thing. You know, for future reference.


1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Really and truly made a solid effort to take better care of me.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
No I didn't keep my resolution. Will I make another? Of course.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Sadly, no. But I wih someone would, I love babies.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
My great-grandmother passed away, but we weren't very close.

5. What countries did you visit?
None. Boo.

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
A job that I am satisfied with, a degree

7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? None in particular, nothing major happened.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Passing all my classes? Hopefully?

9. What was your biggest failure?
Being lazy and not working when I really had the time to. I'm trying to enjoy my final months of parental assisted living.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had my gallbladder removed. Ouch.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
I loved buying presents this year. If I had to choose the best, I'd say my mom's Ipod.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My sister basically saved my life.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Mostly my own. I miss my friends.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent, groceries, freaking heat bill.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
I was pretty excited to try living on my own, even though I miss Jenna a lot of the time.

16. What song will always remind you of 2006?
Gnarles Barkley - Crazy. Don't even act ike you don't agree.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? The same.
ii. thinner or fatter? The same.
iii. richer or poorer? Poorer.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Concert going, Boston visiting, Power Houring

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Driving. I swear I spent most of my year in my car.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Alone actually, since my family is doing everything the weekend before. Sounds sad, right?

22. Did you fall in love in 2006?
Not even close.

23. How many one-night stands?
Zero.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
I wasn't committed to tv this year, but I'm still caught up on Gilmore Girls.

25. Do you hate/like anyone now that you didn't this time last year?
I'm about the same with everyone as I was last year. Just love.

26. What was the best book you read?
The Beach by Alex Garland.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Sufjan Stevens

28. What did you want and get?
A couple cute dresses.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
I really enjoyed Marie Antoinette

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned twenty and I had my gallbladder removed. Yes, on my birthday.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Being closer with my sister.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
Comfortably Clueless.

34. What kept you sane?
Reading, writing, sleeping.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I don't really do the celebrity crush thing. Anymore.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
I still keep an ear out for women's issues.

37. Who did you miss?
Basically everyone.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
I don't think I met anyone new who ended up being significant. Also, very sad.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006:
Stick with it. I'm most proud of not dropping two really hard classes that challenged me and pushed me out of my comfort zone.
