That's perhaps what I love the most about this. The subtle way his character is unraveled in just his everyday going ons and in the way that you describe them.
I especially loved him remembering when he first met Mimi and then that sentence at the end.
It's a yawn, not a sigh.
That seemed to say so much to me.
And there were all sorts of moments like that throughout the fic that really added so much depth to Benny and to the fic itself.
And for some reason...the description of Benny brushing his teeth was really hot.
...but I think I just love Taye Diggs and the way you described it I could see him in my head and... yes. :-)
Oh and I also love that he walks home and looks into the life cafe sometimes. It's just... aw, Benny! It seems really right for his character which is amazing considering how very little we know about him. Loved it!
