Home again, home again.....

Well, it was a very quick trip back north. I left early because there was some bad weather heading in and I didn't want to get caught in it. I hate to drive in bad weather, especially that far! I do wish I could of stayed longer though. I didn't get my fill of cuddling that cute new baby! He really is a precious one. It seems that he has already wrapped me around his little finger. Kaya and Kaleigh are turning into quite the little ladies too. They love their new roles as "big sisters". I do think that poor Mason had better grow quickly though. He won't stand a chance if he doesn't! I just hope he makes it until his first birthday! LOL! Poor Kaleigh has one heck of a black eye. She fell and struck the coffee table last Thursday. That meant another trip to the ER for her. I think she's up to 4 trips now and she's only 3! Amber was afraid she might of broken her nose and possible another concussion. Everything checked out fine though. At least she's a tough one!
I left to come back home last night at 12:30 p.m. I drove most until 5 a.m. and then had to catch a quick nap....about 45 mins. worth. I did real good until right before I entered Georgia. At that point I was really worn down so I figured maybe I should catch a little more sleep. I guess I was a lot more tired than I realized though. While I slept (for 3 hours!) I left my headlights on! Oh yeah....I awoke to a dead battery! Thank God I didn't leave the jumper cables at home like I was going to do. Many many thanks to the nice family that helped me out. I was able to get a jump and was safely on my way again. It's always an experience traveling with me! Oh well...at least I'm not boring. Now I have to take my car in though to have my radio reset. Since the battery was drained it deprogrammed my radio...there is an alarm attached somehow. Darn you Evan for moving away when I really need you! LOL!
I guess we have been disowned from the rest of our adopted children. I haven't heard a word from them in over a week and I KNOW that I sent them the news of the new babies' arrival. One would think I would hear a simple "congratulations" or something. What's up with all of you?
I guess I've said enough for now. I'm tired...not even a quote today.
