OMG! FLUFF!! Night and Day update.

Feb 13, 2005 20:26

It's almost done, I tell you! It's almost done! *sob*

Well, this series is almost over, and I'm amazed to find that I've come up with some insane idea and have written a drabble, inserting what hawtness I could muster. It took me several agonizing hours to come up with anything, so I'm delighted to see that it's fluff.

*sigh* If anyone has ideas of things they'd like to see tomorrow, let me know. I'm desperately at a loss this time for something great to end with.

Series Title: The Night and Day Drabbles - Valentine’s Day Countdown
Title: Signed by Draco Malfoy
Author: serinamalfoy
Rating: PG-13 (almost R???)
Pairing: H/D
Word Count: 1676 (OMG! It’s the longest one so far!)
Summary: As he stalked off, Harry didn’t know if he should laugh or be disgusted at the fact that sticking to the back of Ron’s robes was a sign that read ‘Tricked by Draco Malfoy’.
Disclaimer: Dude, it’s not mine. Why bother thinking that it is?
Dedication: The series is for crikkita, because I missed her birthday by several months, and love her so profusely that I had to do something for her. *snuggles* I love you, darling, and I hope the concert went well. I owe you for helping and loving me, and this is the only way I seem able to show my gratitude. *smooches*
Mucho love goes to dreamblossom, because she’s an amazing woman who stays up to unreasonable hours talking to me. You need love, sweetie, and I’ve got it for you. *snuggles*
A/N: IT’S FLUFFY! OMG! I thought I would wind up writing angst, but what do you know?! I get this absolutely weird idea, and BANG! Longest drabble I’ve written! Hope it’s hawt enough for you guys!

PS. I’ve only got ONE more drabble left. Bad news - school starts up again tomorrow, so I won’t have time to write throughout the day. More bad news - I have absolutely no idea how in the world I’m going to end all this. You think I would have been smart enough to think up some wonderful, original, spectacular ending, but I haven’t. *slaps head* Inspiration better strike sometime within the next 18 some-odd hours, otherwise I’m dead meat.

Day 7 - Signed by Draco Malfoy
“It’s an absolute nightmare, I tell you!” Exasperated, Harry tugged at his hair, staring in horror at the torrent of students that passed him by.

“What is?” Hermione, reading, barely glanced up to see what was going on.

“This!” Harry half-yelled, a crazed look in his eyes. He spread his arms out and around himself, emphasizing the crowd for good measure.

Hermione glanced up again, and, seeing nothing of great importance, went back to reading.

“Nothing unusual.” She said distractedly.

Ron, who was leaning up against the wall, scowled.

“You know, Hermione,” Ron said, disgust lacing his voice, “I reckon Harry has a point. How is having ‘Draco Malfoy was here’ written everywhere not a nightmare? How is it even not slightly unusual?”

Hermione snorted, closing her book with a snap.

“Well, Ronald, he could have pulled much worse a stunt on Valentines Day. I think we should be grateful it’s nothing more!”

“And how could it be worse, Hermione?” Irritated, Harry leaned up against the wall next to Ron.

“Well, he could be like you two, and totally forget about me and Valentine’s Day. At least he was nice enough to think of everyone!”

“He sure as hell didn’t think about me,” Ron mumbled. When he looked over at Harry, his friend looked back at him questioningly. “Not that I’m disappointed.” He added, blushing slightly.

Hermione sniffed, holding her head high as she stalked off. It was then that Harry noticed the red ink that said ‘Given by Draco Malfoy’ written on the rose that protruded out of Hermione’s book bag.

“Ron.” Harry said carefully, staring pointedly at the red flower. Ron gasped.

“Do you really think he gave it to her?” Ron asked, going deathly pale. “I haven’t even gotten her anything, and she’s my girlfriend.”

Harry looked around, seeing that nearly all the female students had a single red rose with Malfoy’s name plastered onto them. Some girls even had his name tattooed on their hands or their cheek, with the extra words ‘kissed by’ before his name. Ron must have noticed as well, because he suddenly turned green.

“The whole school’s been corrupted by Malfoy!” He exclaimed.

Harry groaned, letting his head fall back against the wall as he took off his glasses.

“This is one bloody awful nightmare.” Harry closed his eyes, only to open them again when he heard Ginny approach them.

“What’s a nightmare?” She asked.

Harry stared, open-mouthed, at Ginny. She stood in front of him and Ron, acting as normal as humanly possible, looking genuinely curious. When she saw the look on Harry and Ron’s faces, her expression went instantly from merry to confused.

“Guys,” she said uncertainly, “What’s wrong?”

“Ginny,” Harry said slowly, still staring, “What the hell is that on your neck?”

Ginny, instead of blushing like any foolish school girl would have, stood straighter, looking defiantly at both the boys.

“What? Draco’s ‘Snogged by’ mark?”

At this, Ron exploded.

“WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING, GINNY? HOW DARE YOU LET MALFOY TOUCH YOU! YOU LET HIM TATOO YOU LIKE VOLDEMORT BRANDS THE DEATH EATERS! IF HE HURT YOU, I’LL - ”

Harry grabbed Ron, covering his mouth before he could continue bellowing. He looked around quickly, hoping no one heard him mention Voldemort or the Death Eaters. When he was satisfied that everyone was minding their own business, he looked back at Ginny.

“I’m not going to ask you what happened, Ginny.” He said carefully, his hold on the struggling Ron growing weaker. “So I’ll let you go before your brother happens to get loose.”

Being incredibly smart, Ginny nodded, said a muffled thank you, and then ran through the hallway, against the current of students.

Ron tore himself away from Harry’s grasp, turning around to face his best friend.

“What the hell, Harry? Why’d you stop me?” Ron’s face was red, which truthfully matched the hearts dangling from the ceiling. Harry didn’t want to know who had been stupid enough to put them there, though - they only reminded him of an awful experience consisting of a singing cupid in second year. He cringed.

“Listen, Ron. There’s no need to get so worked up over Ginny. She’s old enough to -”

Ron shook his head angrily, his fists clenching the robes at his sides.

“I don’t care. Malfoy can never come near my sister. I swear I’m going to kill him!”

As he stalked off, Harry didn’t know if he should laugh or be disgusted at the fact that sticking to the back of Ron’s robes was a sign that said ‘Tricked by Draco Malfoy’.

*~*~*~*

Harry kicked open the dormitory door - he was grateful that everyone else was down stairs. He had found it extremely irritating that where ever he had gone the whole day, written or stamped everywhere was Draco Malfoy’s name. He nearly vomited during dinner when he saw that every single dish contained the name ‘Draco’ or ‘Malfoy’ on it, either from the carrots on a plate arranged to do so, or the cakes having been baked into the shape of the letters. He shuddered when he remembered going into the boys’ bathroom, only to find Draco’s name printed on the walls, the doors, and even the toilet seat! He didn’t understand why Draco would want his “perfect” name on a toilet seat, and he nearly vomited when he saw the name written on the mirror in red lipstick.

Tearing at the curtains hanging from his four poster bed, Harry screamed.

“WHERE THE BLOODY HELL HAVE YOU NOT BEEN, DRACO MALFOY?”

It was suddenly silent, and Harry began to question why his stuff, and himself, was yet to be branded in any way. It seemed slightly odd, and he felt suddenly left out. All the other Gryffindor got signs spell-o-taped to them, saying ‘Tricked by Draco Malfoy’ or some obscene word, with Draco’s signature on the bottom.

He pouted, because he wanted to be a part of it too. He wanted part in Draco’s twisted habits.

Suddenly, he couldn’t help but shiver. Turning around, he saw the dormitory window was open, and he couldn’t help but feel a foreboding feeling. He inched towards the opening, cautiously looking out to see if anything suspicious was out side. When he realized how high up their window was, he scoffed at his stupidity, and closed the window with a sharp bang.

Exhausted from having to look at Draco’s name and agonize over it, Harry laid down on his bed, not bothering to undress or take off his glasses. Within a matter of moments, sleep claimed him, and Harry drifted off into a very naughty dream…

*~*~*~*

“Hello, Potter.” His name, he thought, sounded so sexy when it rolled off the other boy’s tongue. Harry tried to get up out of bed, but found himself unable to. He moaned, wanting to hear the boy say his name again.

A tantalizingly silky hand ran up Harry’s bare chest, stopping to wrap itself around his neck as the boy straddled his legs. Harry raised his hips, trying to attain more contact, but it seemed as if the boy on top of him was there one second, and gone the next. He looked around, bewildered, trying to see where the boy had gotten to.

He heard the boy breathe into his ear as he laid his whole body up against Harry’s, his warm skin merging with Harry’s own. The boy’s teeth nibbled Harry’s ear, and Harry gasped, turning his head to claim the boy with a kiss, only to find him not there.

The boy licked the back of Harry’s neck, and Harry turned again, this time coming face to face with Draco Malfoy.

Draco held Harry’s gaze as he ran a single finger down Harry’s stomach, tracing patterns into his skin. Harry felt Draco shift closer, felt their bodies heat up from the contact again. Draco licked his lips, and Harry caught him this time, capturing his tongue and forcing his own into Draco’s mouth. The boy’s throaty laugh only made Harry more confident as he swung around, forcing Draco onto his back, while Harry leaned in to devour him. His mouth explored Draco as he heard the boy moan, saying his name over and over again. Hearing his name made him breathless, making him pause. Draco looked down at him, and smirked.

“Harry…” he whispered. Harry melted, his eyelids fluttering closed, his hands clenching the bed spread. He was in pure ecstasy.

Draco pulled Harry up towards him, holding his head between both his hands, his warm breath tickling Harry’s skin as Draco leaned in to whisper in his ear.

“Everywhere, but here.”

He pulled back, Harry looking fairly confused. Draco smirked, lightly licking Harry’s lips before pulling away.

“That is, until now.”

*~*~*~*

Harry jumped out of sleep, bolting up-right in the dim daylight. It was barely morning, and he registered that he was extremely cold. He looked towards the window, but couldn’t see anything, because his glasses weren’t on. After finding them on his bed-side table, Harry saw that the window was open. As he got up to get out of bed, Harry suddenly sat back down beneath the covers, thankful that none of this dorm mates were awake. He was naked, and Harry didn’t know what he would have done if they’d had seen him in his very awkward state.

Looking down at the covers, investigating how much of a mess of himself he had made, he saw everywhere something that nearly made him yell in terror. There, on the sheets, on his legs, on his stomach, on his chest, on other parts he didn’t want to name, was scrawled the name ‘Draco Malfoy’.

Hermione was wrong, Harry thought - this was the worst it could be; for written above each name, instead of the usual ‘was here’ or ‘Tricked by’, were the words ‘Property of’.

Looking back towards the window, Harry remembered the dream he had had, and grinned. Maybe he was wrong; maybe this was the best it could be.
