My very personal review of 'Like a virgin'
Well, what should I say about last night's episode? For one, I'm really glad that old!Sammy is back. That's for sure. I'm afraid that sooner than later he'll scratch through that wall that Death put up in his mind and that's gonna be awful for him and Dean as well. Like Bobby I'm really scared of the B-side. I know that's gonna be horrible. But seeing the brothers hugging each other made my poor heart turn into mush *sigh*.
And Cas was back! My favorite angel really made that episode for me. Poor Cas, he told Sam everything so fast when they talked about the past year. How can it be that Cas didn't realize that Sam was just fooling him into telling him what had been going on? I just wanted to smack him when he started to spill everything. Come on, Cas! What the hell?
But the rest of that story? More ultraterrestrials? Like the fairies weren't weird enough now we get dragons too! Dragons? Really? I felt -again- like I was watching a fairy tale. Not that it was bad, it was just so not like anything I'd ever seen on that show before. Loved the Harry Potter, WOW and Lord of the Ring references. They were really funny. But Dean isn't brave enough to get that sword out of the stone? Come on! If he isn't the brave knight than who is? I have to admit it was rather funny to watch him try to get the sword out of that stone. And the music. OMG, that was so 'King Arthur'! Hehehe...
Btw, does anybody else think that the mother of all the monsters out there could be Lilith? I mean, she was the first demon and she had to be in Purgatory (which is where all monster, demons etc. go to when they die, right?). So, if Lilith is back does that mean that other monsters could come back too? Like Crowley, for instance. I really miss that SOB!
Sam: So, what? You think Batman tried to rape her?
Dean: Well, he does carry a lot of rage. But he rejected her because she was already dehymenated.
Sam: You think?
Dean: I think it just goes to show that being easy is pretty much all upside.
Sam: So what kind of thing likes virgins and gold?
Dean: P. Diddy?
Sam: You know what's comforting?
Dean: What's that?
Sam: I died for a year, came back and you're still not funny.
Dean: Shut up! I'm hilarious.
