If you don't want to read my bitching, please move on.
So the university employs people to come in and clean the bathroom and vacuum the floor in our rooms once a week.
I haven't heard of anyone else having issues with their cleaning person besides me.
At first she would move all my things around.
Today I happened to be home when she came, and she started bitching at me about keeping my shampoo and stuff on the floor of my bathroom. She also said I have to take everything out of my bathroom each week so she can clean it. I told her that's ridiculous. Where am I supposed to keep these things? She even took the toilet paper out of the bathroom. She went and complained to her supervisor and told me her sup would be by in a moment to "explain how it has to be done" to me.
When she was removing my shampoo, conditioner, razor, loofah, etc she was practically tossing it on the floor next to my armoire. I admonished her for the way she was treating my things and also for the fact that she put my loofah on the floor - something I use TO CLEAN MY BODY. I think her behavior is ridiculous and unwarranted. I don't understand the purpose of having me clean out the bathroom weekly so someone can come clean it - doesn't that just not make any sense? I'm not provided with anywhere to keep my shampoos/etc except on the floor. I don't have extra money for a little basket to keep them in. My bathroom is not trashed each week when she comes in, though my room does look rather jumbled (books everywhere!).
I was trying to study for class while she was in here, but we were both obviously quite annoyed with each other. I have a few boxes near the door from packages I've received that I just haven't gotten around to taking to the dumpster yet. I'm working on it, but it's obviously not priority one for me.
All in all, I wish I could just not have her ever come into my room again. I'll be happy to clean my own effing bathroom once a week.
