reflections on 2008

2008 has been an amazing year in so many ways.

First, my full time work started in march which was challenging and fun. Travel, actually having to get up early for once... and meeting so many new people.

I've made some good new friends this year and kept in contact with as many as possible.

July saw BMC come round again and for the 15th year in a row it was just as much fun as always.

September saw me applying for my first guide dog and now on december 17 she has arrived! Earlier than training but it will be the training slightly easier as that initial fear of meeting a new person will be behind her.

Training is in january of 2009.

On the music side, the gigs are still going well, the second album in delayed but in the works and jams are still regularly happening!

Product testing is still a huge part of what I do and although I cant say anything, some of the products I've had the plessure of being involved in this year has been tremendous!
From the release of JAWS 10 and Tandem to Talks releases, to Sendero GPS V5 to many more for T&T, 2009 looks just as exciting and I hope to get onto more beta testing teams to assist with some of the fantastic products.

Well, the first part of 2009 should be fun I have guide dog training, friends coming to stay in january and the JAWS scripting course which will be challenging but fun.

I trust all of you will have a safe and happy new year and please keep in touch in 2009 and make it your best year yet!

Happy new year!
