Korn, Slores and 10 Years
i guess it has been a while since listened to korn, 5 years maybe? whenever follow the leader came out as i didn't recognize most of the songs they played tonight. and i don't remember korn being as 'hard' as they were tonight. it was interesting. there were some points where i thought i was going to pass out but after they did a medley of songs, including some that i recognized, the set got a lot better in that i could kinda get into the music. they weren't too bad but at the time, i was wishing 10 years was back on stage.
i will say, for a free concert, it wasn't bad. especially since i had no idea who was playing until i got there. i had heard some rambling about mudvayne, but that was about it. not too bad at all, and making fun of the slores with their ass antlers was pretty entertaining. the pit was pretty weak and i thought they could have done a lot better, but seeing as i was damn near in the nose-bleed section, there wasn't a whole-helluva-lot i could have done. oh well.
and sorry, no pictures. there was one guy damn near recording the entire show on his razr, but as i said. . .nose-bleed, digital zoom, camera phone. . .yeah, but watching the cellphone camera man was pretty entertaining. the lights made it look as if a nuclear explosion had taken place on stage, mushroom cloud and all.
