Sadly, my puppy-to-be was born at the wrong time, so I will be picking her up in MI that weekend.

I know: no big surprise, really. I seem to have issues making it out there a lot. I think because I just don't really like going alone, so I come up with excuses? I don't know.

Regardless, this year, the excuse is really iron clad: I have to be in MI on the fifth to pick her up. Even if I could pick her up early/late, my father has to leave town the following weekend, and I promised to get him home by Wednesday.

In case you are confused by my recent LJ post, she's actually my second puppy-to-be: we're getting two dogs. My dad is going out with me for that (second) trip. My LJ post is regarding pick-up for the first dog.

I hope you have a ton of fun, though! :) Are you going to be going out to LV early, or staying longer? Or just going out there for the days of the convention, then heading home?
