Bamboozle & shit.
Bamboozle Left was pretty sweet. Got to see lots of familiar faces. The first day was amazing. Valencia. All Time Low. Sherwood & sunflowers. Over It. Peter totally has a Chester the molester stache now, hah! Envy. Finally met the Goodbye Valentine guys. Ran into Seabass, later on I sent some girls to him to get their heads shaved, but he missed it! :^( Hit The Lights. Missed Cute's set. :^( Jack's Mannequin was amazing. Missed some of the surprise SoCo set. Nice Fearless guys. I loved Dashboard's set, but I realized how much of their material I don't know. "Eat the banana!" "One more bite!" ...Fuck yeah. Tailgating party. Denny's & our Hitler waiter, hahah. Brutal ass drive back to UC Irvine. Sleep!
The second day was kinda boring overall. Missed MAH & Permanent Me. "Show us your tits for freeeeedom!" Saw The Audition. Alex from ATL did an acoustic set; amazing. Definitely one of my favorite sets from BL. A Thorn For Every Hort; didn't really get the chance to chat it up with poontang pie. So They Say & their arousing set. Over It surprise set. Spill Canvas was awesome. Chris Conley. Brand New. They had a great set. Can't wait for their new shit; it sounded so good. Taco Bell with Fanny. Drive back to Bakersfield. It was fun after Brenda woke up, hah. Work the next day was intense!
Free Valencia show for us. Stopped by the Hit The Lights & All Time Low show with Shane & ummmm, the Permanent Me tour manager, hah. Talked to Alex & finally Matt again. I just wanted to see ATL, then go to the Jerry's show, but Jack couldn't get me in cause the promoter sucks. The Jerry's show was a lot of fun though. It was pretty much just us & the bands there. No complaints. I won't even go into details on how I was feeling that night, hah. Sound The Alarm. Permanent Me. :^) Charlie & I tried selling CDs to oncoming traffic by showing some skin. We eventually made a sale to a 40 year old woman who wanted both him & I, hahah. Valencia. The Space Between.
A friend of mine gave away his Dashboard/Brand New ticket, so I totally snagged up the offer. That was great, plus Brenda could have someone to go with! Ahh, we snuck into some pretty close seats! Brand New was wonderful. Jesse played Jude Law, fuck yeah! Dashboard's set was awesome. Chris looked delicious. He's so much cuter in person. Hands down was their last song, ahh, so pretty. Flyered. I forgot to stick around to try & meet Chris. I was serious about that too!
I totally got sick at the second day of Bamboozle. Bummer. My throat's all fucked up... like always. My voice is running out. Damn laryngitis.
Payday tomorrow!
