I was going to do a first impressions meme when Gino hit 1k, but he's 300 comments away from that and, you know, I'll probably hit that this weekend in the midst of my rapeshifts. juri loev working!! More specifically, Kallen does ping him as an interesting person. She's attractive to him! And the big thing with them is that ... Kallen responds to him. If people respond to Gino, he'll respond back and it'll go on for god knows how long.
Also, she's from the same general time as him, which is a definite plus. To him, it's ... nice, at least, to have someone around who knows that stuff really does go down. I mean, the stuff that happened wasn't good and he's not happy that things went down the way they did (lol his conversation with her about Euphie), but anyway. It also gives him another excuse to talk to her, sob.
HE DOES, on some level, feel a certain amount of responsibility for her. The whole lol war prisoner thing aside, he was serious when he said he'd make sure the truce stayed intact. He views that as his duty as a Rounds! Basic human decency, blah blah, so whether she believes him or not, he intends to make sure that it holds true. The same applies for any of the other Black Knights that come to camp, provided that they hold up their end of the truce. Note to self: talk to Kaguya at some point.
But yeah, Gino ... likes Kallen. He finds her attractive! He wants to get to know her more! And he just ... likes their conversations in general. And I'm still loopy from yesterday, so I'll just leave it at that.
