RIGHTO. Gino likes Ty Lee quite a bit already. To be fair, it's hard for Gino to not like anyone, but Ty Lee really ... clicks with him. She's fun to talk with and also good with the whole physical contact thing, which makes her comfortable to him! If that makes sense. She's definitely someone he keeps an eye out for and hits her up when he sees her, even if he doesn't really have much to talk about.

OOCly, I think I mentioned to Suzaku once that the similarities between the characters are kind of hilarious. I-I mean, Gino is a noble, he's the fourth son of this VERY WELL-KNOWN noble family (lol his family lol), ran away from home to join the military, now has this high-ranking position, [sort of uh boiling rocks Suzaku at one point IT WAS HIS FAULT] ... there's more, I think. It was ... pretty special.

Aaaand back at you! Ty Lee's thoughts on Gino?

Hahaha I thought of the Boiling Rock thing too the other week. Also both characters were introduced in the second season instead of appearing in the first, so there's another AU twin connection.

But yeah, keywords are very appropriate here. Ty Lee loev Gino, for pretty much the same reasons Gino likes Ty Lee. He has an established connection with the Geass cast which gives Ty Lee more stuff to talk about due to the Geass cast and the Avacast meshing a lot in camp, the fondness of physical contact is always a way to score insta-points with Ty Lee, and plus there's the whole "really cute" thing, which makes it even better (I'm honestly astonished that Ty Lee hasn't shamelessly flirted more than she has thusfar, though maybe it's because she's more inclined to be flirty with people she knows she'll get funny reactions out of ( ... )

Oh Ty Lee. ♥

HAHAHA man I am just happy he survived. But he also was in a picture on Kallen's corkboard! Tianzi and Villetta were in it as well. Despite the HILARIOUS insinuation that Gino went to China, I think that was just ... a party picture, especially since he's still in his Rounds outfit. Anyway, Gino loves Britannia. I really cannot see Gino leaving Britannia forever - he only really defected towards the end of the series because Britannia became a Britannia that was so warped from the country he loved, and there was no real way for him to change that aside from fighting against it. Which is why I sometimes forget that, oh yeah, Gino was fighting under Schneizel. That struck me as less "I FIGHT FOR UUUU, SCHNEIZELLLLLL" and more "This isn't the country I loved, and I want to do what I can to fix that." Uh, tangent!ANYWAY, I figure he would have no problem with Cornelia or Nunnally as Empress and would very happily serve under them again as a Rounds. Since he's ... really the only one remaining (lol anya and her orange farm ( ... )

'kay!

-- actually on that note since Gino and Anya are always like. Referred to as the only two Knights that survived other than Suzaku, is Nonette still supposed to be alive or what? I don't remember her being in the "Suzaku massacres the Knights of Rounds that don't do anything" scene or... anything other than a couple of group shots, orz Geass. CONSIDER THAT AN UNOFFICIAL QUESTION for when you get back.

... HAHAHA I forgot about Nonette. It's okay, Sunrise forgot about her too. She appeared, like, once in the anime and never actually talked, although she gets some mentions in the side novels. And she has some connection to Cornelia? In that case, Gino is also likely Nonette's bitch. ): I doubt Nonette is ... dead, although I seriously have to wonder where she was in all of that because we got nothing, and the Rounds were clearly not cool with Emperor Lelouch. SHE PROBABLY GOT THE HELL OUT OF DODGE.

- oh wait I thought of something. I have actually never watched Avatar save for a few episodes here and there like "The Beach," because my computer haet veoh et all. What is it that you really like about Avatar? Characters, plot, relationships ...?

whoops late OH WELL they don't take attendance.

If Nonette got the fuck out of there she's the smartest person in the entire organization, jeez.

Okay, as for Avatar, it's... well, all of it. Characters first and foremost because they really developed an incredible cast of of complex, three-dimensional characters, even in the case of someone like... well, Ty Lee, who is only in like... eight or nine episodes out of sixty? The voice acting is uniformly excellent and I love that of the entire main cast, only Zuko, Iroh, and Azula really had famous VA's at all. And then conversely the supporting cast is like a who's who of awesome voice actors/actors in general (Jason Isaacs as Zhao, Mark Hamill as Ozai, Daniel Dae Kim as an Earth Kingdom General in one episode of the second season, casting Mick Foley, as a parody of his own former tag team partner The Rock, as THE BOULDERRRRRRR, etc ( ... )

... hilariously, Emperocket was what got me to app. The app story itself is kind of funny, but basically, I had been really turned off to R2 after the previous two episodes. Stuff just wasn't sitting well with me! And ... then that episode with the Charles and Marianne stuff aired, and Charles was ... well, Emperor Wakamoto, you know how that goes. A-and while I actually like their backstory, the execution of it had me, er, laughing so hard, and the ending was like "god what."

Suzaku promptly PMed me and went "h-hey, I wouldn't blame you for backing out on Sunrise right now, THEY TROLLED US" and after a few minutes, I went "WHATEVER, I CAN DISOWN THE SECOND HALF OF R2, I'LL DO IT THIS ROUND. 8D"

The Emperocket image still makes me laugh. ):

Speaking of apps, YOUR BEST APP STORY. Tell it to me.

Uhhhh well. ON ONE HAND there was Kamiyama's app which is my favorite of all time because the bulk of it took thirty minutes to write and then I just had to spend maybe an hour or so fine-tuning it before the window opened.

But um then there was Ty Lee's which was... uh. Special, man. I put myself through so much stress trying to write that app, to the point where on Halloween, two days before the window, I was basically sort of an empty, exhausted husk of a person to the point where it tired me just looking at the laptop screen at the app. Because the thing was, I knew that there was an Azula apper and a Mai apper and if I didn't app Ty Lee that round, someone would, either that round or the next, and then I would be fucked. So it's the Thursday before the window and I'm still in the back of my head bouncing around ideas and then suddenly, as I'm walking to Jack in the Box from a failed attempt at finding a play for my acting class, the idea to make her app a riff on support groups hits me in a way where I hadn't been able to ( ... )
