Yay for the colorbar!

I too am uneasy. This seems to be a compromise, but I fear, like the compromises in the United States of 1820 and 1850, that this is a band-aid over a problem that will continue to fester. A note to those without a sense of proportion (given these debates, it seems sadly necessary): I am hardly comparing any side in this debate to the holders of those principles that were being debated in the 19th Century in America -- they are scarce as important, indeed... and they also are unlikely to result in five years of unrelenting bloodshed, where brother killed brother. I am comparing the solution to those put forth by Henry Clay.

For now, the serial adders may continue to add, and those who feel they need "control" over their friends-of list will have some limit of that control. Will they, perhaps, push for more? Will certain serial adders (who cross the line from serial adder to troll) behave in even more reprehensible manners, since they now have "nothing to lose" and will likely be banned anyway?

Ultimately, I suppose it can be summarized thusly: I fear the issue remains unresolved.
