So yesterday I made Dylan go with me to Gateway to see Batista. That means, with two working weeks left for thesis, I chose to skip our Thesis Plenary yesterday afternoon to see a wrestler. Yep. Priorities, priorities.
Even if we got to Gateway a few minutes past 1:30, Batista's scheduled appearance, we didn't expect the place to be so PACKED. The atrium, where the whole program would be held was already filled beyond capacity, and so the only way we stood a chance of seeing Batista is if we waited by the mall entrance by Beauty Bar and Tutto Moda, so we can at least catch Batista walk in. We stood by the entrance for the next two and a half hours, with me getting harrassed by some middle-aged pervert and Dylan elbowing whoever got too close to him (even girls! Tsktsktsk...). While jostling for a better view, I even saw CAMS (!!!), my old English blockmate, whom I haven't seen in over a year. Of all the places to bump into each other, eh? Hahaha. Fangirliness DOES bring people together! Squeeee. *ditz face*
So anyway, when Batista finally decided to come out (security delayed his entrance out of fear that the crowd would go Wowowee on them), we careened, we tiptoed, we pushed, we shoved, we jumped up and down, but alas, all we saw was his head. HIS HEAD. -_-' So much for my chance encounter with Batista. Huhu.
Later that night when Dylan and I were at a family dinner, I was telling my aunt about our misadventures in Gateway, and she told me that Batista was also in Eat Bulaga (?!?!?!) that day, so I could've had it easier and would've seen more of him if I just stayed home and watched him on TV. Then, I could've attended the Thesis Plenary too.
Lesson learned: wrestling <<<<<<< school? No fucking way. Haha. So is anyone still going to see Smackdown?

We got our 2nd History long test back last Thursday and... I GOT A 99!!! WOOOT! Finally, a semblance of accomplishment in college! Nyuknyuknyuk. I would've gotten a 100 but I forgot to put my name on the essay part, so Ma'am Hofilena deducted a point. Oh well, an A's an A. I'll take what I can get. Hopefully we can do just as well on our thesis. Speaking of which, does anyone have a high-quality video camera we can borrow to shoot our commercials? We're willing to pay for "rental!" :)
