Last two shows.
I've never been one for public expressions of group sentimentalism. I refuse to and I never will cry unabashedly and scream "I love you guuuuys!" while in a group hug. *shudder* Oddly enough, I'm dreading the end of our run tonight. The disconsolate feeling has crept in earlier than expected. I know I've bitched and whined about this play for so long; everyday there was something new to complain about. The 6-hour rehearsals and Chari's occasional rages (which, I admit, were justified) were particularly hard to swallow. I'll miss all that though.
To everyone involved in the production -- the cast, the SMs, the tech people, and of course, our director -- the last four months have been incredible for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you. :)
On that note, hope you guys can make it to the last two shows today, at 3pm and at 7pm. We've worked so hard on the production, so everything you'll see onstage is a product of our sweat, tears and frustrations. It's been a valuable learning experience for me, but just the same, I'll keep with me the memories I've shared with the cast members -- the drinking (especially that night where we almost got kicked out of Meatshop), the pranks, the drama, the issues, the gossip, and all the stories we shared to each other during the most inappropriate times. :P
Raaaar. I'm suhd. :( But I. WILL. NOT. CRY. That's just too Kris Aquino for me. Nyahaha.
