A death in the family
Last Monday, my husband lost his grandfather to cancer. We buried him on Thursday. It was his third battle with the disease, and he had won the previous two.
He was special to me, as he welcomed me into his family as if I'd been born there.
Art runs in our family, and my nephew did a picture called The Rainbow Connection in his memory. It's up on Ebay now, with 50 percent of the proceeds to go to the American Cancer Society. As you can see, Joey, at age 6, is a better artist than I, but I hope you will all take a look, and maybe bid to help this worthy cause.
