I am so very sorry. If you've been reading my journal every so often lately, you'll know that I've been deeply affected by my own grandfather's death. I cannot imagine an even more sudden situation, because he was not healthy for years. Love and hugs to you; I hope you and your family will be ok.

I've been thinking a lot about you these last two days Sela. I might call or e-mail you to commiserate because what you've written lately has been resonating so strongly since I found out. It feels like we had very similar relationships with our respective grandparents.
