We love bean salad and I've recently found a 'cheat' to make the already simple even simpler.
Step 1 - Go to Trader Joe's.
Step 2 - Purchase a can of TJ's Marinated beans.
Step 3 - Purchase other assorted cans of beans to your liking.
Step 4 - Go home.
Step 5 - Open can of marinated beans, pour entire contents into huge mixing bowl.
Step 6 - Open other cans of beans, one at a time, pour contents into strainer, rinse well and add to mixing bowl. Mix after each addition.
Step 7 - Chop your choice of additional garnishes - yesterday I used fresh parsley, hearts of palm, black olives, and sundried tomatoes. Add to mixing bowl and stir.
Step 8 - Season as you desire. My most recent choices were onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt, ground peppercorn, orange peel and a shot of white balsamic.
Step 9 - One last mixing, chill, then indulge.
