Well, I haven't posted in awile. Everything seems to be mundane and ordinary, very routine. However, the latest is that the Airforce is sending me to the desert again.....during July. Very toasty. I might as well get used to sticking my head in an oven, would feel about the same as where I'm going again. Oh well, comes with the job. Probably will ( Read more... )

Hey, man! Good to see you on here, I was just thinking about you today and wondering how you're doing. Glad to hear things are OK overall, though I'm sorry you have to go overseas again. Well, Nalini is a tough cookie -- she'll manage alright, though I'm sure she'll miss you like crazy. Heck, I miss you, buddy! :)

Maybe you can set her (and some of your family) up with LJ accounts, and keep in touch that way. I know phone calls aren't always available, so this might be a great way to stay in contact. Give you something to look forward to during your downtime, you know? Plus, you can always customize entries for specific friends, like if you just wanted me and squealnakedcatj to read something. That's not hard at all, so keep that in mind. Maybe you could even mess with your layout when you have some free time, make the journal a little more personal and something you can appreciate visually. So many ideas! :P

Anyway, keep us posted on what's going on. Have a good day, and keep commenting!

Putting your head in the oven, huh? Sorry to hear you have to return to the desert. I believe you mentioned it when I was out there visiting you guys, but I thought it was happening earlier. Perhpas I am getting confused with Volk Field.

What computer will you be using out there in desert paradise? A laptop? I wonder what games we can play over the net. Maybe you'll just go emulator mad, but let me know if there are any multiplayer games that will work for us. I'm sure Steve would be interested as well in that kind of info.
